| The law firm of Tarlow Stonecipher & Steele, PLLC, was formed in 1997 by Tom W. Stonecipher and John H. Tarlow, both of whom have practiced in Montana for over a decade. Mr. Stonecipher and Mr. Tarlow began their careers practicing with large firms in Chicago and Burlington, Vermont, respectively. Ralph W. Steele became a partner in 2006; he has practiced in New Mexico as well as in Montana. The firm currently has five attorneys. The firm has a broad civil practice with concentrations in areas of business and commerce such as real estate development and land use; construction and lien law; employment law; business formation and financing; ranch and farming operations; and general business counseling, as well as concentrations in insurance defense and personal injury cases. Members of the firm are also experienced litigators with extensive experience in state and federal trial and appellate courts. The firm's office is in Bozeman, which is the home of Montana State University. The city has a variety of high-tech and manufacturing companies and is an attractive summer and winter recreational area. Montana is a surprisingly close community and the firm's practice includes matters across the state. |
